Enterprise, Web, and Mobile Applications Design and Development

We possess NOAA-proven expertise in full software lifecycle development and management. Inspyr uses established technical services and practice areas to meet the government’s requirements and exceed expectations. These processes and procedures are certified at CMMI level 3. Inspyr’s processes have the following current certifications: ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 20000 (IT Service Management), and ISO 27001 (Information Security Management). We customize these processes based on our 12+ years of experience supporting the US government, tailored to the specific client needs, meeting the blend of scientific priorities and federal project management.

We provide mature, industry-recognized established project management and technical solution delivery processes, methods, and best practices that enable us to reduce performance risk, continuously verify quality, and expedite proactive, cost-effective delivery of products and services that consistently meet and/or exceed customer expectations. With deep connections and reach back to leading IT resources through our partnerships with organizations, such as DevLeague, and sponsorship of events, such as the Hack-for-the-Sea Hawaii event, we are innovative in providing IT solutions.

Data Analytics and Visualizations

Inspyr recognizes that information is only as valuable as it is available, accurate, timely, and usable. We are experts in mining, distilling, and rendering scientific data into visualizations that support advanced analysis, modeling, and prediction. Our subject matter expertise, combined with our technical skills, enable us to develop dynamic tools using industry-recognized platforms and toolsets such as Tableau, Qlik, Python, TensorFlow, Adobe, and others to support evidence-based research and decision-making. Inspyr is also working with leading machine learning/artificial intelligence vendors and toolsets to help our customers increase the value gained from their data – especially with respect to fisheries performance, species population variance and behavior, climate impacts, socioeconomic trends, and other indicators of scientific and policy interest.

Data Assimilation and Data Quality

Inspyr develops and supports state-of-the-art techniques for assimilation of data from many sources, from satellite imagery to socio-economic population surveys to buoy sensors on the open ocean.

Inspyr routinely implements a variety of internal and open-source data processing tools to streamline data development and quality control procedures for each project application. We have a proven record of collecting, organizing, editing, and evaluating large amounts of data and fully understand the requirements involved with data collection. Our team of technical experts can understand and interpret the information and note any apparent discrepancies and has the ability to explain the results to a wide audience in the manner that is commensurate with each project. Our integrated ISO data quality assurance activities streamline the data conversion, validation, packaging, and distribution processes delivering high quality data and metadata on which various Inspyr customers and stakeholders across the US and indeed around the world depend.

We’ve used our established processes to:

  • Provide an integrated data dissemination system solution to the National Science Foundation with data center infrastructure management, legacy data system maintenance, and application modernization development
  • Oceanic data is formatted, processed, and verified by Inspyr developers and charted by cartographers using Esri cartographic products. We create tools to process and format the data, perform quality control and evaluation of the oceanographic data, ensuring that it meets the strict requirements for Nautical Charting systems data as defined by NOAA and the International Hydrographic Organization.
  • Develop and support state-of-the-art techniques for assimilation of hydrometeorological and water quality observations into hydrologic, ecosystem, and environmental quality models.
